South Mumbai's boys' schools plan change - Campion to go Co-ed, St Mary's partly.
Two of south Mumbai’s oldest boys' schools, Campion School and St Mary’s, are planning to convert into co-ed institutions. The Jesuit-run schools are embracing co-education as the natural way of learning and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. The move is expected to encourage gender sensitization and enhance the personality of children. Other schools in the vicinity, such as Stanislaus School and Bharda New High School, have already introduced co-ed sections with positive responses. Experts globally support co-education for breaking stereotypes and fostering understanding and trust among students.
